La Moisson Maskoutaine's mission is to recover and distribute foodstuffs on an equitable basis to humanitarian aid organizations in the greater Saint-Hyacinthe region. The ultimate goal is to eliminate food insecurity in the region, so that everyone can have enough to eat. This is why the organization also offers collective cooking workshops in Saint-Hyacinthe and other municipalities in the MRC des Maskoutains.
