Founded in 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chefs à la Rescousse is a mutual aid initiative set up by entrepreneurs and citizens in the Laurentians region. Chefs, grocers and volunteers provide people in need with healthy, well-balanced prepared meals at modest prices.
In synergy with La Samaritaine, Chefs à la Rescousse aims to become the benchmark food security organization for the greater Laurentian region. The Chefs à la Rescousse solidarity project is made possible by donations from generous benefactors.
