Redefining access to healthy food at home

Social pricing, a component of the La Cantine à domicile program, makes healthy meals accessible to seniors facing economic vulnerability.

Social pricing: essential support for those who need it most

Breaking down barriers to accessing meals

With a referral from a social or health sector professional, our program provides seniors facing economic vulnerability with access to healthy, prepared meals at a reduced price.

Social pricing is made possible thanks to the support of our generous financial partners, funders and private donations, as well as revenues from the La Cantine à domicile program.

117,474

117,474 affordable meals have been delivered at the social pricing rates, through 11 members and across 6 regions, since the program began.

Who can benefit from social pricing?

Social pricing is offered to seniors who are referred to us because they are experiencing financial difficulties.

Thanks to this initiative, it is possible to extend their independence and improve their quality of life.

Becoming a referrer means playing a crucial role in countering food insecurity

If you work in the health and social services network (CLSC, community organizations, community workers, etc.), you can become a referrer.

As a referrer, you are a gateway to healthy and accessible food for seniors facing economic vulnerability.
