SACC

The Service d’Aide communautaire de Charlevoix-Est (SACC) is an organization that has existed since 1987, or 36 years. Originally founded under the name SAAB by Ms. Réjeanne Guerin and Mr. Roger Fournier to meet the essential needs of the Charlevoix-Est community in food aid, the organization has evolved over the years to offer a more global approach in the fight against poverty.

Thus, the SACC adopted the name Service d’Aide communautaire de Charlevoix-Est to better reflect its expanded mission. In addition to providing food aid, the organization also intervenes in education and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits among people in vulnerable situations on its territory.
