La Moisson Maskoutaine’s mission is to collect and distribute food equitably among humanitarian aid organizations in the greater Saint-Hyacinthe area. The ultimate goal is to eliminate food insecurity in the area so that everyone can have enough to eat. That is why the organization also offers community cooking workshops in the city of Saint-Hyacinthe and other municipalities within the MRC des Maskoutains.
