Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality of service provided by La Cantine in schools at participating educational establishments. An interest in the well-being of children, interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail are essential.
Job description
The contract holder’s task will be to visit participating schools to observe quality and compliance with the standards expected of the program. Canteen in Schools. She will then complete a report of her observations and recommendations for Canteen for All. She will also be called upon to act as a Canteen for All ambassador to the school staff she meets.
Our challenges
- Contract to visit schools participating in the Canteen in the Schools program
- Available between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for visits (plus travel time to schools)
- Be able to travel to different schools in the region
- Have a probe thermometer at hand and the necessary cleaning materials (e.g. alcohol swabs).
- Have access to a computer to complete and send a report of the visit to LCPT
Qualifications
- DEC in dietetic techniques
- MAPAQ certificate – Food establishment manager
- Experience and keen interest in food service quality control
- Autonomy and diplomacy
- Good adaptation and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with children aged 4 to 12
- Proficiency in the Google suite and Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with the technological environment and tools (ordering platform)
- Organization and quality
- Good command of the French language
- Full-time availability for a period of a few weeks (2 to 3 weeks) or part-time (minimum 1 to 2 days per week).
- Knowledge of the school environment is an asset
