La Cantine pour tous continues to roll out its La Cantine \u00e0 domicile program with its expansion into the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Thanks to a partnership with\u00a0<\/a>Different Cooks<\/a>,<\/a>\u00a0More than 1,500 households in the municipalities of Padoue, Price, Sainte-Ang\u00e8le-de-M\u00e9rici, and Saint-Octave-de-M\u00e9tis will now be able to order affordable, locally prepared frozen meals delivered directly to their homes.<\/p>\n

A simple solution for eating well at home<\/b><\/p>\n

La Cantine \u00e0 domicile is a service for ordering frozen meals prepared by social economy enterprises. Already available in eight regions of Quebec\u2014Montreal, Laval, the Laurentians, Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie, Outaouais, Capitale-Nationale, Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches, and, now, Bas-Saint-Laurent\u2014the program makes it easy to order meals by phone or online and have them delivered directly to your home.<\/p>\n

The program is designed for anyone who wants to simplify meal preparation, particularly older adults. Meals are prepared locally using high-quality ingredients to provide a convenient, nutritious, and affordable solution.<\/p>\n

The service also includes a subsidized pricing option, available upon referral from a partner organization, intended for individuals age 55 or older who are experiencing economic vulnerability.<\/p>\n

Les Cuisiniers Diff\u00e9rents is a social enterprise in the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie region whose mission is to promote the social and professional integration of people living with an intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder, while providing high-quality meals. In its home region, the organization is already a partner of La Cantine pour tous for the La Cantine dans les \u00e9coles and La Cantine \u00e0 domicile programs.<\/p>\n

Already active in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region since the start of the 2025 school year through their own school lunch program, Les Cuisiniers Diff\u00e9rents joined the La Cantine dans les \u00e9coles program in January 2026. They are now putting their culinary expertise to work for seniors in the region by also becoming partners in the La Cantine \u00e0 domicile program.<\/p>\n
